What is a logo

Logo is a simple visual mark to identify your company.

• is not an illustration, although sometimes an illustration can be a part of the logo
• should look good in all sizes: on a billboard in Times Square and a business card
• should be a vector image, which means it should be scalable
• should be fairly simple and easy to understand, such as the logos for “Nike,” “Sony,” etc. (remember: when your logo is small, the details are lost anyway)
